This unique, extra virgin olive oil is produced exclusively by Koroneiki variety olive trees, up to 100 years of age, in the small mountainous village of Ancient Skillountia, at the sacred land of Olympia. The intense aromas of green pepper, olive leaves, freshly-cut grass, almond and a pleasantly bitter taste makes this multi-awarded, early-harvested olive oil, with its vivid green colour, and high polyphenol levels, special.
Cultivar: Mono-varietal, Koroneiki (100%), from our selected olive groves.
Orchards: Mountainous Plateau 10%-15% inclination, altitude 450m.
Soil Composition: Limestone, sand, no irrigation.
Production Qualities: Harvested by hand, cold-pressed at <23ᵒC within 12 hours after harvest.
Bottling and Packaging Qualities: Nitrogen is induced in stainless tanks and in the head space of the bottle.
Packaging: Dark coloured bottle or opaque painted premium bottle.
