Its repatriation took place few years ago at Opountia Locris, ‘chora’ (terroir) of Domaine Hatzimichalis and the result is an exquisite wine with history. Red grape variety, which name refers to Vitis Hellenica, leaving no doubt about its greek origin. Its great potential gives long living, robust and complex wines. Famous, during the Roman Times for the production of the Falernum wines, but also nowadays for the Taurasi.
