Experience the flavour diversities of Greece during this food and wine tasting experience in Athens. Feel free to visit one of our wine bars based in the city centre, and get the chance to experience various tastings of local products from all over the country, such as graviera (slightly sweet, with a pleasant burnt caramel flavour), Vermiou (a semi-hard smoked cheese), feta cheese (Crumbly with a slightly grainy texture, tangy and salty flavour), salami from Lefkada, soutzouki (its similarities are of salami & sausage but a bit spicier), and pastrami (beef which is brined, partially dried, seasoned with herbs and spices, then smoked and steamed). Accompanied with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The wine section includes three wine glasses, a sparkling wine, a white wine, and a red wine of 75ml each.
Cooking Demo: Learn the secrets of how to prepare our Greek souvlaki in a short educational cooking demonstration. This will also allow you to taste some of the best selections of wines an foods of Greece, with all wines and pairings, explained by proferssional sommeliers. This is a great introductory course to Greek cuisine, perfect for first-time visitors.
You should not miss the opportunity to taste indigenous varieties, such as assyrtiko, xinomavro, savvatiano… where the list goes up to 300!
The tastings are available in Greek, English, and French.

You can have access to more wine tastings, or wine served by the glass. You may order one of our many wine bottles, in-store before you leave or you could order all our available wines online which can be shipped worldwide.
