A young passionate winelover but also certificated Oenologist by the School of Science for the wine , vine and beverages of the University of West Attica.
Born in 1996 in a small city, Lamia, has been gradueted from The American Farm School of Thessaloniki on 2014. During the studies he did interships, an agricultural research of the area of Fhiotida and he worked on La Tour Melas winery in Achinos.
When he’s moved to Athens for studing at the University of West Attica started also his studies for the WSET in the department of Athens.
During his University education he did harvests in Domaine Skouras, Domaine Hatzimichalis, Avantis Estate.
He’s certificated WSET Levels 1,2,3 for the wine, Hestia Level 3, Level 1 Introductory Sommelier Course.
Certified Sommelier by Association de la Sommellerie Internationale.
Member of the Association of Greek Sommeliers since 2015.
Since he was 8 years old started to visit the wineries in Greece following his family passion until the wine became his passion as well.
Every year he visits wine regions all over Europe for wine tatstings . Bordeaux, Mosel, Rioja , Alsace, Toscany, Penedes, Monsant, Priorat, Madeira, Porto but also new countries on the wine map like Romania and Hungary.
He is always participates on Masterclasses organized in the city of Athens or during his trips.
Completed also by e learning the “Event Planning, Marketing and Management session” and the “Logistics Management” of the University of Athens.
Successfully completed the MBA essential, online seminar by LSE and Political sience.
Certified olive oil taster since May 2023 by the NOAOO and the Swiss Approval Organization.
Since 2015 he is the head Sommelier on Cinque wine bars, by creating wine lists and wine tastings. last June he joined the Avantis winery Santorini team as Oenologist and Sommelier.
He’s the supervisor the oenologist for the post-bottling project of Cinque wine bars, a new idea for wine tasting with bottles of 187ml.
He runs Cinque wine delights in Athens, a unique wine tasting center where tasting wines gets another meaning!
Currently he’s focused on Cinque Wine Bars franchising project, as the business is developing under the umbrella of Francise Co.
