Wine Style presented a unique Masterclass entitled “Exploring Xinomavro” in February at the Royal Olympic Hotel Athanasiou Diakou 28, (Panorama Hall) in Athens.

Once again, the hall was filled with crowds of wine drinkers and wine enthusiasts who were thirsty for an in-depth knowledge of the notorious North Hellenic variety.During the event there was a unique blind tasting of 35 different Xinomavro from all over Greece that aims to focus on the formality, the impact of winemaking along with other varieties, areas and sub-regions as well as its new trends of xinomavro and its evolution over time.

The event was sponsored by Cinque Wine & Deli, where the last 5 years there is always a Naousa offered by the glass. This year in our wine list we serve by the glass Naoussa Grand Reserve from  Boutari Winery: 

• the trademark of Boutari Wineries, since it is one of its first and best-known wines. A genuine example of a red aged wine that first introduced to the market the concept of a limited, controlled production made from grapes from selected vineyards.With an aeging potential of 12-15 years.
