Aigio is located within a unique landscape of vineyards. The slopes of Aigialia combined with the mountains and the ocean in such a unique way, that formed a special microclimate in that area.
Roditis, Lagorthi, Sideritis, Agiorgitiko, Mavro Kalavrytino, and, the famous Mavrodaphne are indigenous grape varieties primarily used by Cavino. Furthermore, international varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon are also used.
Cavino exports more than 75% of its production of wine and ouzo. The company involves technological developments. Nowadays, it has two bottling lines for wines and two more for spirits, in particular ouzo, tsipouro, and brandy.
At the moment, Cavino produces wines, which are distributed throughout Greece, together with 50 other countries from all over the world. It always justifies its leading position in the winemaking industry, by setting very high standards of quality and consistency in its performance.
