Exis White

Where does it come from?

The harvest is nocturnal, aiming for the grapes to arrive at the winery cool and not hot, as in the daytime harvest. Thus, much faster and without thermal shock, they are cooled for pre-fermentative cryoextraction.

Color bright yellow-green, dynamic aromatic fruit character with hints of orange blossom. Dominant aromas of fruits such as melon, peach, orange, pineapple and apricot. Mouth with volume, oiliness and satisfactory acidity. Excellent flavor balance with a long aftertaste.

The variety...

Malagousia (pronounced simply as Mala-goo-zia) is an ancient grape that was rediscovered in in the last twenty years, during the modern renaissance of the New Wines of Greece. It is the impersonation of Greek wine producers, taking advantage of their potential, as they began exploring the secrets of the famous grape. In the 1970s, Malagousia was a Greek white variety unknown to most of the wine lovers, where it was thought to be completely extinct.

Discover the unique character of the grape by choosing one of Cinque’s wine tastings or enjoy it by the glass at wine bars in Athens.
